About

Hi! I’m Danielle! I’m a Graphic Designer and Photographer born and raised on the Connecticut shoreline. I have a BFA from the Hartford Art School (‘10) where I graduated Magna Cum Lad in Visual Communication Design with a double minor in Photography and Art History.

My primary experience has been working in in-house marketing departments. My responsibilities have varied from creating posters, flyers, and other designed marketing materials, adhering to brand standards; brainstorming and pitching marketing plans; assisting with event execution including event photography; and lastly brand photography — everything from lifestyle photoshoots and landscape photos for store displays.

My biggest passion over the years has evolved into helping a brand find it’s voice and authenticity. I believe strongly in the companies I have worked for and am always critically thinking on ways to improve by doing my own research and personal development as well as paying attention to current industry trends.

Working in Post Production, I assist both the lead Editor and Assistant Editor with dailies and proxies for post production, as well as some parts of the turnover process once picture is locked.

The Sisters Enchanted

What started as very part time in April of 2021 editing the Podcast for The Sisters Enchanted, I transitioned into a full time position where I also became responsible for photography, social media content creation, brand standards landing page design, blog maintenance and pfd design. I also worked with the Owner and CEO on self-publishing her first book, which I designed and helped distribute.

Part of the Communications Department, I was the main photographer and videographer for the school. I documented athletic events, arts department productions, and any visiting speaker to the school, as well as documented student life around campus and in the classrooms. I produced videos for the Admissions department as well as worked with different departments to help keep the on campus spirit alive with recorded events, such as a virtual commencement and virtual school meetings.
